RESPIMAX SYRUP – Ambroxol, Salbutamol &
Guaifenesin
Salbutamol is a
bronchodilator, Guaifenesin is an expectorant
and Ambroxol is a mucolytic.
Combination of these drugs is used in the
formulation of cough syrups.
It works by binding of Salbutamol to beta
(2) receptors in the lungs results in relaxation of bronchial smooth muscles.
